So beautiful. What great timing, I’m a nurse who really wants to change into palliative and end of life care. Ward work is soul destroying, just throwing medications at people and not focusing on healing. Thank you for this talk ❤️

I'm a nurse as well. Currently I work in critical care, but I was a hospice nurse for 3 1/2 years both inpatient and home crisis after hours. It was really cool the place i worked had frank come and do a workshop so I was able to talk to him a little bit. Didnt realize the significance at the time, but now I do.

Hospice is same. Throwing meds into the dying. Please do not become an organ donor.

@@jamiekahn5778 wow glad you know everything? Have you ever had someone dying and crying to you.begging you to ease their suffering with pain medications because of their cancer? Have you seen a distorted face from tumors all over in their throat and brain? How about a 4 yo girl with a glioblastoma seizing uncontrollably and having to give meds to ease her suffering while her family watch her deteriorate unable to speak or move half of her body. How about people panicking and thrashing in their beds writhing in pain and telling you they're not ready to go? You have no clue what you're talking about. Medications are a necessity in many situations. Have you seen terminal delirium? You're being very disrespectful to those that have passed on under hospice care as if they're too weak for needing medication. Anyway saw your channel and it's clear to me I'm wasting my words.
